Nature’s Wonderland
Tioman has one of the last untouched dipterocarp forests in the South China Sea. The lush greenery is home to a wide range of wildlife including protected species such as mousedeer, binturong, long-tailed macaque, slow loris, black giant squirrel and brush-tailed porcupine. There are no large mammal predators on the island. Trekking is an excellent way to enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest while breathing in the fresh, cool air. There are several trek routes in Tioman and among them is the 7km route from Tekek to Juara which links the east and west coasts of the island.
The path is fringed on either side with outstretched branches and dotted with mass-covered granite boulders.

Enchanted by the charms of the place, she decided to discontinue her journey. The princess took the form of an island and pledged to offer shelter and comfort to passing travellers. Tour around Malaysia, which one do you prefer, by bus or train?
Current news on August 2008, almost all Malaysia buses owner will increase the ticket price to minimum 30% for Aidilfitri season. So that, some people prefer to tour by train which the ticket price is cheaper than bus ticket. Beside that, tour by train is more comfortable because you can walk anywhere in train but you cannot walk in the bus. You also can go to the toilet without need to wait till the train stop. KTM Berhad first class train has prepared bed for their customer special for long journey tour.
Actually there is an advantage and disadvantage whether you choose to tour by train or bus.
Advantage
Bus: Move faster, take short time to reach your destination
Train: Safety- Low risk of accident
Disadvantage
Bus: Safety- High risk of accident
Train: Take more time to arrive your destination than bus. For example, if bus takes 8 hours, train may take 10 hours.
It’s up to you to plan the best way for you journey. For me, I’ll choose bus for long journey and train for short journey. I don’t like to feel too tired tour by train unless you want to choose first class train.
